Between 2017 and 2022, I embarked on a journey of impactful change and empowerment in education. Co-founding the Fundanii education project alongside Sinovuyo Apleni, we forged a lasting impact on digital learning.
In the heart of Mdantsane, we recognized the gap in digital education between township and privileged schools. With a commitment to education and technology, we set out to bridge this divide, giving birth to the Fundanii computer literacy digital learning app.
Partnering with schools like Mzimkhulu, Mfundo, Langelitsha, and Gcobani senior primary, we introduced the app. Starting with basic computer literacy, we progressed to a comprehensive digitized curriculum, sparking positive responses from students and educators.
Beyond the classroom, our digital story "The Adventures of Lizzy and Bean" amplified engagement. After-school, weekend, and holiday programs extended our impact, reinforcing our commitment to lasting transformation.
